Jacob’s ladder

TORAH:

Jacob leaves Beer-Sheba and dreams of the ladder to heaven. In his dream, YaHVaH announces Himself to Jacob by Name,  “I am YaHVaH, God of Abraham your father and God of Isaac.” Jacob awakes and calls God by His Name YaHVaH, then builds an altar naming the place Beth-El (House of God).
