Craze for Ancestry Information

The Craze for Ancestry Information
By Dan Juster

The ancestral information craze is partly a symptom of a lack of rootedness in our modern world and not knowing where to really find meaning. Interestingly, some people seek to embrace foods and art that were not in their childhood family as a practical sign of connection to their genetic roots.

Let’s enjoy some knowledge of ancestry but let’s find the center of our identity in Yeshua.

When an Israeli Soldier Dies in Battle…The Country Stops
By Ron Cantor

On Friday, during the “peaceful” border protests in Gaza, Aviv Levi was gunned down by a Hamas sniper. At 21 years of age, his life was over. I want to help you feel the pain that we feel, here in Israel, when a soldier dies in battle.
Hope and the Hyacinth
By Avi Tekle

People need hope; it is one of the commodities so lacking in the world today. We have that hope. We are like that seasoned gardener who could have told me exactly what would happen to the hyacinth and what care it needed. We who know of the hope to which we are called (Ephesians 1:18), should be God’s gardeners on earth – watering, fertilizing and tending His harvest and pointing the way to the Son.

The Primary Error in Word of Faith Teaching
By Daniel C. Juster

So when does it become problematic? A couple from upstate New York met us in their congregation. They lost three children in a tragic car accident when they were carpooling with others going to a Christian school. They were asked to leave their Word of Faith congregation where they were elders. The pastor explained that their tragedy was undercutting the faith of the congregation. Wow!
The Proof of Your Calling
By Ron Cantor
Over the years I have heard many people tell of their great calling to be an apostle, prophet or to save gazillions through their ministry. Most of these never pan out. Those who are called to such things don’t speak about them or have them emblazoned on their business cards. There is the calling and then, there is the commissioning.
The Visionary
By Leon & Nina Mazin

When we talk about a “VISIONARY,” we most likely picture someone such as Ezekiel the prophet, or John the disciple of Yeshua. Ezekiel painted prophetic images of heavenly chariots and heavenly creatures, and he prophesied about the future. However, this is not what I mean when I use the word “visionary” with a small “v.” Rather, I’m referring to something more modest, being “pioneers,” that which has become our calling today.

Yeshua’s Heart

Influence
By Leon Mazin
Israel is presently going through a unique time – a time of growth and yet instability, a time of success and yet danger, a time of conflict and yet opportunity. This is similar to Yeshua’s time, when He told his disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matthew 9:37-38). But this cannot be done only by human enthusiasm alone.
The Feet of Other Disciples
by Guy Cohen
After washing their feet, Yeshua returns to the table where they continue to eat and talk. He asks if they really know what he’s just done for them. Yeshua then shares with His disciples the reasoning behind his actions – that we should serve one another regardless of our station.
“Touch not God’s anointed”—a misused verse
by Ron Cantor
From this text, some leaders have derived a very dangerous doctrine regarding a senior leader and accountability. According to this doctrine, the senior leader is understood as having a position like the ancient kings of Israel. He is “God’s anointed”; therefore, he is not to be removed by any process of men—no matter what he does. He is beyond congregational discipline. But what’s the truth?

Tents of Mercy and Others

Discipleship Mentoring Project
Hosted by Tents of Mercy
This initiative is geared especially to serve IDF soldiers who have recently completed their mandatory service. It is a great way for them to “breathe” and heal after their intense years in the army. For two months we teach them to hear from God and study His Word while living and working in a rural communal environment.

Tikkun update

By Asher Intrater
I believe we are crossing into a new period of prophetic fulfillment, whereby Jerusalem becomes both the center of international conflict, and at the same time there is the beginning of a new outpouring of the spirit of grace and supplication. Last month a number of events concerning the city of Jerusalem converged together in an uncanny way…
By Ron Cantor
My experience lines up with the Word. Experiences mean something, particularly when they confirm the word of God. (I often remind people who don’t believe in the restoration of Israel, that Israel is indeed being restored.) I have seen blind eyes opened and the lame walk. I have seen people full of demons find freedom in Jesus and I have seen these demons flee when confronted in the name of Yeshua.

This country is a MIRACLE. And it has happened, IS happening during our lifetime. What’s more, He brought my family and millions more back to this sacred land. What next? We know that Israel’s Messiah, our Yeshua, will return in person, to rule and reign over all the earth from Jerusalem. Meanwhile, there’s a lot of struggle.
